Quality Standards
Pre-Shipment Audit & Provision of Inspection Certificate
Prior to despatch, all shipments are audited according to specific customer instructions or standard AQL rules. Audit reports will normally only be forwarded to the client in the event of a problem, although reports are always available on request. The following are our methods of inspection:
- Initial Inspection: This is prior to bulk cutting of the fabric. We insist that a few pieces in each size to be manufactured and tested for fit and wash.
- Mid Inspection: Approximately 50% of the production prior to packing.
- Final Inspection: To ensure that packing and markings are strictly as per order.
- We issue an inspection certificate which is compulsory for the negotiation of documents.
Monitoring and Reporting
Our Team Leaders are in daily contact with each of the production units working for you. All our factories are visited regularly and we have a formalized reporting system to check and control status of each individual order.
We employ three levels of status reporting:
Development Status: Each order is assigned a group of Status Items. These items represent approvals and resolutions required for the order to be completed successfully. The history of each development is recorded for reference.
Production Status: This report is available through e-mail or fax and reflects the status of an order, once it is committed to production. It will reflect quantity of fabric received at the factory, units sewn and units packed.
Shipping Status: This reports on the status of all goods under dispatch.
Documentation of Orders
